UW already has a big advantage in getting Fifita and TMAC beyond just Fisch and Carroll and that’s all the other big programs already have a QB or already bought one in the portal. And they’ll want to play together

Yeah, I think the biggest threat to us is them staying at Arizona. It sounds like Arizona is trying to make a HC hire that will keep those two

I think the only hire they realistically could have made that would have done that was Carroll and that’s out. Or Nansen would would be hilarious. They don’t really have the cash to make a splash otherwise but we’ll see
 
Not that they are here to play school, but how does transferring mid quarter/semester work? Does a guy from zona just drop classes, come to UW, work out/practice, and not have to start class until summer or fall quarters?

The new addition of players to the offseason musical chairs act isn't good for the sport in any capacity. Somebody is going to get caught holding the bag, fan engagement will plummet outside of like 20 schools.

Usc doesn’t want to roll with miller moss if they don’t have to. They pursued multiple portal qbs to be qb1 after the holiday bowl—and whiffed on all of them

I completely agree with this. Not enjoying any of the "UW buying players from Arizona" stuff that's going on, but I understand that's how it works right now and you gotta do it to survive. Some actual, binding rules need to get established very soon on this. You can't have 24/7/365 free agency - this is all unsustainable. We're basically going to be cheering for the Arizona Wildcats in UW jerseys by the time this process is all said and done. I'm not going to remain a mega fan in the future if something doesn't change with the structure of the portal.
