Legends of the fall

In the Niners game, the catch was special, hence the name. In last Saturday’s game, the throw was special. Henceforth, it shall be The Throw.

Problem is, there have been many that could be called that. All praise be to the mighty Penix.

For my money, the Penix throw and Culp’s catch were both more impressive in a vacuum than the Montana throw or Clark catch.

Culp’s catch is highly contested and gets both feet down.

Knew we were winning when that’s how they responded to that godawful personal foul on Fautanau.

Definitely. Penix threw it quite a bit farther into a smaller window, and Culp had to grab that thing like a vise or it would've been broken up.

According to the wikis, he’s still on Arizona’s practice squad. Also said he ran a 4.28 on his college pro day.

4.28? Were they using the “one Mississippi, two Mississippi” timing method?

Who IS our designated jump out of the end zone guy these days?

There's a parallel here to Culp's catch against USC
