As to the OP, I think it's a mistake to make him a martyr even if he assuredly deserves the death penalty.
There's probably worse people sitting on Death Row. Kinda surprised "Biden" didn't issue him a blank pardon.

A few serious thoughts I guess:
  1. I don’t support the death penalty as a concept because I don’t believe the state should be empowered to take a life. I’d rather people like this rot in prison for the rest of their lives than be made martyrs for their twisted supporters to immortalize.
  2. The now-slain CEO of UHC was objectively not a good person, however that doesn’t mean he wasn’t a good father, son, or husband. I have no idea, but regardless it should have no bearing on how this punishment is meted out.
  3. My opinion is that we do away with for-profit life imprisonment and that the immediate families of rape/assault/murder convicts are provided monetary restitution by the labor of inmates for the duration of their sentence. Obviously this means nothing in this particular case but in general it seems like the right thing to do.
  4. The California legislature naming a bill after the accused murder in the name of social awareness to the unfair practices of these giant insurers they helped create by supporting the ACA 15 years ago is so intellectually and morally insulting that I don’t even know how to quantify it rationally.
 
If only insurance companies were regulated by the feds and states then everything would be swell. Just like rent control.
