He's only spent one year calling plays. He's definitely on track to be an HC but this would be a little early, IMO.

And will Harris is nowhere ready to take over the reins of DBU and recruiting.
Not next year but maybe 20/21 or 21/22 will be a serious hat in the ring for an HC job. If and when no balls leaves Harris will take over (or follow lake to the new university).
Give harris 4-6 years of secondary coaching and recruiting and he'll be ready for a DC position and 2-4 years of that will have hat in the ring for the USC job.
