Three coaches who have been lambasted on Hardcore Husky for being fucking idiots, etc. I have defended each of them. They are all good or great coaches. And yes, I would have loved to see Leach coach at Washington. (But you can't show up to an interview wearing flip flops, so I understand Woodward thinking him an odd duck.)

Leach and Harbaugh both 9-1. Pete Carroll needs no defense with his resume.

I love the guy, but wouldn’t want him at UW.

When Sark or Tyrone were here? Of course. I believed Leach would win 9-10 games a year at Washington.
 
Plus, as I said back then, I would have loved to see Ivar's pregame brunch and boat shuttle to Husky Stadium be in a pirate ship.
 
Leach is a great fit at WSU. They couldn't do better. We don't need to be an air raid program. Pete has a higher end at Washington than Leach would have had.

Leach is a good coach for a school like WSU. He would not be a good coach for a bigger program. He gets the most out of his players with his schemes and for some reason no team besides UW wants to try and game plan around that.

Harbaugh is good but his schtick gets old once he has been in a place for too long.
