To play devil's advocate Id say Kwat is a good DC and isn't a ship jumping type

A man's got to know his limitations. And that isn't a knock. Venebles was a great DC. About to get fired at OU. There have been others.
Every year the NFL goes ape shit over some hot coordinator and he gets a head coach job and 2 years later he's gone. No warning

After last season being lukewarm at best does anyone really care?

Getting a proven DC who had the #1 defense at Illinois >>>>> losing these guys

By all accounts Brett Billema is the real DC and calls the plays for Illinois. Walters just had the title like Carroll did as OC for us last year.
