Lawn Mowers

I’ve got a 46ā€ deck Husqvarna rider. Bag the grass in the spring, early summer and early fall, mulch it in the late summer as it gets dry. Takes me almost two hours to cut my acre because we have so many garden beds, decorative trees and green houses to mow around. It’s annoying. Been a good little tractor for me.

Lawn mower shots. Just like watch shots.

You’re lawns on point. I want to run bare foot on it.
Thank you. Haven't even turned the sprinklers on yet. Here's the secret: pay a super good local company that knows what they're doing to weed and feed. Skip the senske and trugreens of the world. My local guy understands the climate, timing, and grass type and applies appropriately and he barely costs more than buying the stuff myself at the landscape store.

It was better when I believed you were doing it yourself

Have an old beater Briggs and Stratton push mower, a fairly new Amazon model self propelled, and little Kubota BX 25 tractor with a belly mower. I have a few acres to mow and actually do most of it with the old push mower. Good exercise.

Mowing is far and away my favorite chore. My GF and I had 10+ acres of pasture for 5 years that we kept watered and mowed. We had a 50 hp Case orchard tractor and 6' flail mower for that. It was easily my favorite ranch activity.

Uh. No.

You’d piss your pants driving the road to the G&R Compound in the winter. Blacktop? Christ.

Cub Cadet rider for that small portion that portion that needs mowing.

Polaris Ranger UTV for the rest.

Yeah, wouldnt want to drive that kind of homage everyday, but have been in several states hunting and otherwise driving in ice and snow. Been there and done it, including the Appalachians.

So I can …and no, wouldnt shit my knickers doing it. Been there, done that. Absolutely rathers have the warm weather and dirt roads. Fk those hills and snow. Great place to ā€œvisitā€ in the fall or hunt. I’ll take my Souf MS weather, rivers, dirt roads, beaches and gulf of AMERICA.

Seems like a bunch of ā€œpushingā€ mowing shit up in hea…

I did that when I was 12. Actually bent the spindle accidentally hitting a water meter and thought my dad was gonna kill me over that 20inch, push shit.

If I had to ā€œpushā€ anything, I’d just do like @RaceBannon , hire and hope ICE don’t show. I ain’t ā€œpushingā€ Jack shit. Or walking behind it.

I’m riding and dinking a cold one, me, or fk that shit. If y’all see me walking behind a mower, or better yet, running from one, better get out the fkn way. Either I’m running over you and/or whatever is chasing me will eat you.

mines self propelled chief. My lot is too small for a ride on.

Praying.doog.gif that the Cub Cadet starts today after a long winter's rest. Didn't hook up the snow blower on it this year.

Compound turning into a jungle that would make Persian porn bush look tame by comparison.

gonna be like Wallace, ID, circa 1910 this summer. Ts and Ps for us both.

The HOA handles the landscaping in the community. It might cost slightly more, but there are good economies of scale to contract with 1 company to handle ~2000 homes.

-It ensures there aren't any yards that look like shit because the owner is lazy.
-The noise from lawn mowing happens all at once for each section of the hood, on a weekday, instead of being spread around all weekend when people get to it

Once or twice a year I will mow at the inlaws' beach house, they have something like what houseofpain poasted.
