Here's what I have been slow to realize. 10 years ago I would have looked at Marj T Greene as a goddamn wacko. Now she is still sort of a wacko, but is one of a small handful of "conservatives" who is willing to fight like the Dems fight. Knife fight in a phone booth style - which the Dems are legend for. So she gets labelled a wacko. Is she any worse than Omar or AOC or the rest of those shithead Sqwad turds? No, She is just the right wing version of them. Except the entire media narrative is that the Sqwad is for America, and MTG is a nutjob.
This is why uniparty Republicans are such pussies. You can be a radical on the left and still be the toast of the town, but be a radical on the right and you are a pariah. And GOPers really want their kids to get to go to private schools and get to go to good restaurants and get all the trappings of power. MTG and Boebert might be nuts but at least they fucking fight. I'm tired of being classy in a loss. If the entire establishment GOP would rise up and have some Trump style balls then the media would have no power over them anymore.

Asked by reporters at a Miami event Monday, he said it was "entirely inappropriate" for teachers to be having conversations with students about gender identity, citing instances of them telling children, “Don’t worry, don’t pick your gender yet," and also "hiding" classroom lessons from parents.
“Schools need to be teaching kids to read, to write,” DeSantis said. “They need to teach them science, history. We need more civics and understanding of the U.S. Constitution, what makes our country unique, all those basic stuff.”
"The larger issue with all of this is parents must have a seat at the table when it comes to what's going on in their schools," he added.
Although DeSantis stopped short of committing to sign the bill into law, it was the first time the Republican governor signaled his support for the measure since it was proposed by the state's House of Representatives last month.
But the measure's opponents contend the bill would be detrimental to the mental health of the state's LGBTQ children and teachers, preventing them from openly talking about themselves and their families.[/i]

So true. I barely knew if my teachers were married. No one talked about their feels. We just plowed ahead with Washington State history, mathematics, *writing etc.
*Don’t blame my teachers for my lack of writing skill. I tried but I’ve never been able to collect the trash heap of ideas in my head and bundle them into a concise thought on paper or screen. Oh well.
This - "teachers" should teach, not virtue signal, initiate discussion on LGBTQ issues, or steer a child in ANY direction, much less without parental involvement. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like the people that are supporting this abhorrent behavior either don't have kids or are teachers that don't like doing their job
