Last Movie Seen

Watched Project Hail Mary. It's worth it. It's refreshing to have reasonably good movies that are entertaining as heck and don't seem to have real agendas to tell me how to think about the world. DO I think it should win awards? probably not, but it made me laugh, I was entertained, sometimes that's all you want from a movie.
Good assessment. I like that it sounds like they made major efforts to avoid greenscreen and effects as much as possible, which is very needed. I'm reading the book now and the voice and humor is way more quirk chungus than the movie and I think Ryan Gosling as an actor is much more likable than the book narrator written voice. I noticed in the author's Wikipedia page though it says he is socially liberal and fiscally conservative so that probably plays into the movie having a refreshing just be a good movie compass instead of bullshit.

Inside the Mano-sphere Netshits documentary trying to go after Andrew Tate types. Make no mistake, every single person in this is retarded especially the dumpy leftist Brit that is criticizing them while looking like he can't even be bothered to do stuff like take shower, put on a new t shirt, shave your weird balding head, etc.

Nerdy unkept unhealthy voting-for-lockdowns Brit going after low hanging fruit dipshits just about sums up this one.

Does a single person actually watch/listen to Tate and these types or do they just exist to be boogeymen? I've never come across a single person/thing talking about these guys in any way other than how horrible they are. Are all of their followers just bots and guys in India?

Thoreaux's argument is that 20 something's latch on to these guys and give them what little money they have.

You could tell they really wanted to have Tate be essentially what the Documentary is about and going after but they couldn't get him and 3 guys they did go after were all shameless Miami grifters that were too stupid to realize what was going on until the end of the movie.

Well I guess since the Lincoln Lawyer series has been so successful Netflix decided to try their luck with the Harry Hole books. I'm an adamant defender of Snowman and think it's an undiscovered masterpiece on a similar level to Insomnia: PNW noir types with gruesome shit and a detective whose liver and department are failing him. Fassbender and Robin Williams were just amazing in both those movies.

Anyways although I don't like the casting because the actor playing Harry looks too eastern European to okay an Oslo guy, it seems like they've done this right. First episode sets the table masterfully well with just raw violent situation at the end.

Peaky Blinders movie on Netflix. Since most of the Shelby family already died/was killed,

Rebecca Ferguson is hot as balls as gypsy. brb, jo.

Ties things up. Maybe more sequels available. Maybe not.

Worth a couple hours for fans. But it didn't blow me away.

The Gosling shots of him in the movie kind of look weird. Like he's had work done and is trying to look like he's in his late 30's and it just looks weird to me.

Part of me just pretends like he did Drive and Only God Forgives and then retired somewhere. And I don't think he's had a bad movie since either. I enjoyed LALALnd and all that shit.

Even as a hater of space shit I can still appreciate the fuck out of stuff like this

His career doesn't start until Murder By Numbers for me. If that movie came before Remember the Titans then I don't acknowledge that movie's existence. It was a shit movie anyways.
