Psycho Killer was terrible and only barely worth a watch because it's so short but what bothers me more is that it reflects how fs film reviewers are. It's painfully obvious to anyone that isn't a retard within the first ~45 seconds of the film that it's going to be an old school 80's style slasher, like a carpenter brute album come to life. Or whatever death metal band.

If it wasn't fucking obvious it wasn't going to be Seven after that, the WWE wrestler shit throughout 50% of the movie, or the black comedy scene at the mansion should have been a clue. Maybe the nuclear reactor meltdown scene at the end.

Critics are so dumb. But yeah, shit movie, you have toreally be into the subgenre. It shouldn't just been set in the 80's and gone balls deep into that

Lincoln newest season is just about wrapped up. Liked the Entourage alums, mostly a decent season. There's something about the main actor that has just never sat well with me. He just doesn't seem to fit the character.

I also like how Gemini claims that the TV show is "most like the books" while admitting that the show is much lighter in tone, which should actually make the movie more like the books then. Still prefer the movie.

I powered through all 4 episodes of Soul Power on prime. Then went into deep rabbit holes on the players that made the switch from the ABA to the NBA.
to name a few. Larry Kenon. James Silas. Billy Paultz. Caldwell Jones. Then the rabbit holes of guys who I have never heard of. Warren Jabali.
Wondered why David Thompson didn't make an appearance?

As a kid I had this poster and a beach towel with the same image. Until a squirrel chewed through the towel like right in the middle of it.

I had that poster!

My walls were filled with Sports Illustrated posters and Van Halen posters. I would rotate them out. I still have the Rickey and Winfield poster.

Rickey was the man. I wish more people talked about him when reminiscing about the greats. I didn’t know that he died in 2024 until I looked him up today.

@RoadDawg55 I loved how he talked about himself in the third person ~ what a character! More lead off home runs than anybody in history too i believe. And all time stolen base leader as well [1406]

Watched Predator: Badlands. Struggled out the gate because the whole thing takes place on other planets that are all CGI. I'm probably a grandpa but one reason I can watch something like the original Star Wars or Alien movies is that they take place in space but are filmed in real places. Once it's a completely CGI world I feel like I'm watching a cartoon. I like Elle Fanning's understated thickness though.

Then watched Prey, another Predator movie. I'll save bitching about the noble savage and 98-pound chick who kicks ass stuff to the Tug but it was more watchable to me because it took place in the real world. My problem with both are that they do the thing I hate where it's either the Predator or heroes kicking ass where they go whoosh whoosh whoosh kick punch cool weapon and kill like 50 people in a row in a choreographed dance. What was cool about the first Predator was it was basically a horror action movie where guys who when I was a kid thought were bad ass were killed by a mysterious monster not CGI karate.

I watched Prey and agree with you. The Predator is that movie shows up in the 1700s but has more advanced technology than the OG Predator. Dumb.

I was also very confused about French trappers and the Comanches interacting considering Comanches were basically in the southwest U.S. and the French trappers probably never expanded that far but colonizers or something I guess.

When playing fantasy baseball in the early 1990s, Ricky led my team to two championships and a second place finish. A great guy to have in the clubhouse.

If I Had Legs I’d Kick You
Relentlessly depressingly abysmal story about a mentally ill female with a lot of boring problems. Boobs would not have helped this cinematic fiasco. Turned it off after twenty lost minutes.
