That says a lot about your dad. And you.My dad loved that show so much he actually made an effort to get me to watch it. I just didn't like it.
Episode 3 is solid. Mostly about Dr. J. and the Kentucky Colonels.Rick was criminally under rated. Recently watched Game 3 of the Finals against the Bullets. He was great

I powered through all 4 episodes of Soul Power on prime. Then went into deep rabbit holes on the players that made the switch from the ABA to the NBA.
to name a few. Larry Kenon. James Silas. Billy Paultz. Caldwell Jones. Then the rabbit holes of guys who I have never heard of. Warren Jabali.
Wondered why David Thompson didn't make an appearance?
As a kid I had this poster and a beach towel with the same image. Until a squirrel chewed through the towel like right in the middle of it.

Had forgotten to finish Mullholland Falls. What a great existence. Just drive around in a suit and nice car with 3 other "detectives" beating the shit out of people in 1950's LA and making secret Jennifer Connelly black and white porn reels
One of the worst things about this is the industry and media hyping Sinners and it's success compared to the other movie when one is 10 million times more easy to replicate than the other - an erotic thriller based on a book, staring a hot chick that cost $35 mil, that I assume has to be decent enough versus a whacky stew that cost probably $200 mil and probably needed even more for viral marketing that is basically based on domain IP and has to act like generic blues music is something revolutionary. This didn't look that good last weekend but who cares fuck sinners and all the losers that demanded best picture the second the cringe music scenes started happening
