Last Movie Seen

Watched Mud and then Arsenic and Old Lace last night. Darkish movies for Dark Winter.
Speaking of winter films, later tonight I will be watching Moonlit Winter. A story about a Korean divorcee who travels to Japan to ultimately reunite with her former Japanese lesbian lover. A tale of adventure and intrigue.

Send Help. Pretty good and recommended. It is a hybrid of Triangle of Sadness / Survival Island with enough gross out with Sam Raimi directing. Rachel McAdams does get hotter throughout the movie. No boobs. If you want boobs, Survival Island is recommended. Prime Kelly Brook boobs

Major League last night. Mrs Nacho asked for something light after a couple dark, serious movies.

Most of you, I assume are straight men and have seen Major League.

The team sucks for a good chunk of the movie and at one point get their record up to 92-70 and into a tie for first with the Yankees for the AL East.

Apparently, all the tie breaking rules are exhausted and the teams have to play a one game series, winner gets the pennant. And somehow, despite me the movie showing the Indians getting crushed multiple times by the Yankees, this one game playoff is a home game for the Indians.

I recently watched one battle after another because everybody wouldn’t stop talking about it

I enjoyed it, but I do not understand why it was getting hyped so much.

That seems to just be how things are now.

Every time people tell me “you have to see this” I’m always pretty skeptical now.
Just watched it last night. Entertaining enough. Some cliche story lines. Brown people good. White guys bad. TITTT That said it tended to poke a bit of fun at both sides. That said it was entertaining enough. Some of the filming was cool as well, how they filmed a car pursuit was different and interesting.

Also finished Righteous Gemstones. I'm not doing a simple Butt Fucker search to see if it has been discussed, but it wrapped up decently. Some excellent characters in the show.

Re-watched In Bruges this weekend as my wife has never seen it. Still solid on repeat even though the final plot twist is known. Colin Ferrall is a funny fuck.

Also just watched the Miracle documentary on Netflix. Got a little misty reliving that time when everyone loved their country. Fucking Boomers beating the evil Soviets. USA! USA! USA! TITTT

Going to see Dracula during the gay as fuck super bowl.

So many shitty options in the theater right now, at least is billed as the original novel done in the style of The 5th Element (same director going for a similar vibe), so we'll see.

Either way it'll be more creative than all the shitty SB commericals subtley trying to get you to shoot your dog so that Kalshi can get another round of funding.

Dracula:

The 5th Element didn't blow me away like some X/Millennials but this adaptation of the story was pretty great. Ridiculous in ways that are entertaining and not drug induced.

The gargoyles were great. Really this is what Disney should be today, more like their 80's/early 90's for both adults and teens.

I was expecting the same ending as Nosferatu and when the army shows up with cannons to shell the living fuck out of his castle I couldn't help but smile.

Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau. A decent documentary on the making of this film. Brando. Kilmer. that midget who was like the smallest person in the world. A director change. Rob Morrow bailed and David Thewlis came in

Someone tell me if the new Damon/Affleck police thriller is any good. I don't trust Netflix, their last good movie was The Killer and that felt years ago.
