Sheridan has a well documented blonde bimbo problem
And mom is way hotter than the daughter
I went into Wind River in the theater not knowing anything about it.
To go from that to this shit...
The soft country/rock and shots in Landman are still 10/10, but it just feels like a movie sequel that nobody really needs.
The actress playing the wife looking that great after being absent forever from Varsity Blues is a bigger achievement than anything Sidney Sweeney has done.
People forget Ali Larter was in Heroes - which was a pretty good show for about 1 1/2 seasons. Plus boobs.

Still hope she gets mangled in an unfortunate pumpjack incident on Landman. My guess is the cartels kidnap her and makes Billy Bob choose between her and some oil-related incident.
I don't know if Billy Bob's character can carry a show with a bunch of distraction gags that do absolutely nothing.
Her character is unrealistically batshit. Remember her when she showed up to her husband's house last season? And she's still this retarded?
I'll admit that the daughter's stuff with TCU that looked to try and rip off Legally Blonde wasn't that annoying.

I’m in the middle of season one. Glad I came here to find out that Jon Hamm dies.

Agree that the wife is awful and hard to watch. Still a good show. It’s dumb but entertaining.

The best part about the TCU scene was Tequilla acting like it was a big deal to get in. I mean the admissions gal…

I'm putting All Her Fault in the watch list. Just finished episode 8 final
No spoilers but some of the better twists in recent memory

Been watching Ken Burns’ American Revolution. Keep hoping it gets better.

That guy had become a massive faggot.

TITTT

Being Eddie on Netflix. It was good, but it probably only scratches the surface of the stories Eddie could tell on his rise in the 80's. Thanks to Charlie Murphy for telling us the Rick James and Prince stories. The Yul Brynner story. The Johnny Cash Story he told on Fallon. Marlon Brando stories.

On X:
  • Celebrities gushing over One Battle After Another, to the point where I now have to hate the film because its politics are making everyone dishonest about the quality of the story and characters. "2 small beers" wasn't even funny in the moment. Paul Thomas Anderson is good, not great. Fuck off on that.
  • Speaking of Directors that are wildly overrated, the Odyssey is going to suck. I knew it would suck when Matt Dayumon and Zendaya were cast. It looks fucking stupid.
  • Watched the clip in Interstellar that all the bots say is "one of the best moments on film ever"....yeah...this guy is overrated. Sorry.

I enjoyed it. He had a great run in the 80’s and The Nutty Professor is also awesome. I was watching clips of it on YouTube a few weeks ago.

I still rewatch his skits on SNL sometimes. I just watched the James Brown hot tub song. Funny stuff. My GF and I even sat through all of Delirious a year or so ago.
I have to say that Charlie Murphy's telling of the Rick James and Prince stories might be the funniest things I've ever seen on TV. I think I'd have to go with Charlie if forced to pick a favorite Murphy.

Best comedian would be a good pole.
Throbber likes Charlie better than Eddie, too.

The bots are correct, TrainDreams is probably the best original Netflix movie to come out since The Killer.
American folk-classic starting Joel Edgerton as a logger in the Northwest. Tragic, beautifully shot.
Truly should be a movie in the theater exclusively right now, but Netflix sucks.

Margin Call. Lots of great actors but seemed like too short of a movie for what was going on.

Landman 2.2
Fuck the daughter/mom storyline. Just fuck it.
Can't Paramount simply run two versions - one with just Billy Bob/Oil and the other with the fuckery of the two blondes?

Don't Worry Darling. Decent enough, but way too many plot holes for me to really like it. No boobs, but lots of box chowing by Harry Styles on Florence Pugh.
