I watched 2 old movies over the weekend.

The Final Countdown with Martin Sheen and Kirk Douglas. 1980 release date. The USS Nimitz goes back in tim to December 6, 1941 off the coast of Hawaii. Lots of Navy recruiting footage. Great premise, terrible special effects.

Logan’s Run, 1976. Weird movie with worse special effects.

Interesting trivia from that movie. The kid who played Freddy the drummer was only ever in that movie and nothing else. He died from COVID in 2021 after a car hit him while he was riding a bike in Chicago.
