His practice story reminded me that Lindquist was still unable to beat Miles out (Magna Carta wasn't in the competition because he was redshirting) so maybe KJCS makes a move in the fall.

OTOH, reports were that Lindquist looked improved in terms of decision making and accuracy.

Well we won't have Miles to kick around anymore.

His practice story reminded me that Lindquist was still unable to beat Miles out (Magna Carta wasn't in the competition because he was redshirting) so maybe KJCS makes a move in the fall.

I think we need to be a little cautious with the "good riddance" rhetoric. Even with the rag arm, the bum hip, the bad body language, and the rap sheet, Miles was still better than this year's presumptive starter.

Lindy's not the guy until proven otherwise, and I don't think he's going to have enough leash to do so. He lacks the hard heart that kills.

Lindy did look like the #1 guy this spring. But he looked like the #1 guy last spring too. And we know how that worked out.
