Doesn’t matter. Played at Bama. Started his career at Bama. Has won titles. He’s fuckin himself by not playing the nil game at Clemson. He won’t need to at Bama, they have a thousand happy from blue chips types who will take care of all that for him

Probably right, but when Saban dies, there are going to be some other coaches who are killing it that will be tempting to the Bama faithful.

(I like to call Alabama boosters “Bama faithful.” I do that.)
 
If anyone it would be Deon. Seems like Saban is pushing for Deon. Like Pete, Saban is done with this Portal and NIL shit. NIL money is needed at Bama or they will continue to play second fiddle to Georgia and Tennessee. Alabama needs someone who understands this generation all of which Deon can do.

If you haven’t paid attention to Deon, he’s totally squashed the race card at Colorado think Hershel Walker. He’s saying over and over football is above race. He’s making all the right moves saying all the right things, including supporting the CSU kid that took out Hunter. Bring Deon to Alabama, he’s an instant success with Bama talent and recruiting and Bama is back to competing with Georgia. Without the hype and support NIL will make Bama fade into irrelevance, think Jalen Hurts

Yep, Prime's finger prints are all over this. His access to media and image-shaping are unparalleled right now.

Alabama or other southern blue bloods are not going to a hire a guy who is seen as locked into an existential battle with white America.
