We're in his top-10 and he's officially visiting for the USC game which automatically puts us in his top-5 and he wants to make his college decision this Fall. We have a chance.
 
Would be a completely different body type than we have on campus currently. Would be nice to get someone with his length.

It might be an unofficial visit. I'm not 100% sure. But he told a Texas A$M reporter he's making his decision this Fall. As long as that remains his plan, UW probably needs to use their official visit on him to get him and his whole family up here and try to blow them away.

It might be an unofficial visit. I'm not 100% sure. But he told a Texas A$M reporter he's making his decision this Fall. As long as that remains his plan, UW probably needs to use their official visit on him to get him and his whole family up here and try to blow them away.

You can't take an official visit until the spring of your Junior year, used to be summer. In this case it just means the has agreed to an unofficial visit on that date. It will be important to see how many family members they get up here since they will be paying their own way. Also there is 5 or 6 recruits who have now mentioned the USC game as a visit...gonna be a huge weekend.
 
So now we're all okay with recruiting Texas right?

It's a bizarre one. Probably the best UW can hope for is he delays his decision a year. Pete's not gonna take a committment from a Texas kid a year and a half out that hasn't taken any official visits. The maintenance effort would be ridiculous. Very encouraging though to even get him up here on his own dime.
