Lance Holtzclaw, 2022 3* DE, Mesa (Desert Ridge), AZ (Committed)

Hopefully this won't be like Nabou, Mells, and Jones where he commits to UW as a placeholder until he gets better offers

Also, why is no one hyping this weekend as a potentially big weekend? Like, cataclysmic if.

Pretty sure since ecktard said and knows nothing that we’ll see 2-3 commitments.

Uhh they are people have been taking about it for months? It’s literally the pinned thread that you have the last post in?

Kinda hard to get excited about this weekend though when it’s literally the only thing uw recruiting has going right now.

I think Robert's will/would be a pretty big get.

Things change all the time when recruiting 3* tweener players. Be ready for the ups and downs, or fine a new hobby.

For those of us that don't know how to analyze film, what's the scouting report?

Fast, athletic, tall, and long. I believe he is being recruited to play OLB. He will need to gain about 30-45 lbs., but once he does he should be an excellent pass rusher and still have the speed and athleticism to cover TEs.

Does he have a 4 star trajectory like Ben Roberts?

That's a question for the media people that hand out starts and ratings. But sure...why not? If it makes everyone feel better about the kid, I'll give him 4.5 stars. The cool thing about my stars and the various "recruiting services" stars is that they carry the exact same weight on the football field.

I doubt it. He's a project. Pretty athletic but really skinny for an edge prospect - 6'4" 200 lbs. If he gains 30 lbs before his senior year and picks up more offers, maybe
