Cold winter in Hawaii? And you lived to tell about it? Awesome.I lived in the Chicago burbs for about 18 months. One full winter and I was done. I’ve done winters in some cold fucking places; near the DMZ in South Korea; Colorado Springs; Hawaii, etc.
At this stage in my life, I want nothing to do with the cold.
That said, Chicago is a fun city to visit.

(Okay, I initially moved to Waimea (Kamuela) on the Big Isle from Seattle (after graduation) and at 2,500 ft elevation the toilet seats were actually cold, during the winter, in the early hours of the morning. No indoor heating, in Hawaii? Makes Dwag sense. But, JFC take a dump before you go to bed. Problem solved. Plus we used to visit Mauna Kea summit on January 1 every year and take a pickup load of snow to the sunny beaches a couple of hours later.) It's not hard, my fren. . . . I still don't own a fucking jacket.
(yes, I typed this thinking it was bait….but still………………….)
