-a backup wide receiver who didn’t even play in the game!
-and a walk-on

Meanwhile, obvious soft losers like Morris & Sirmon & Jon Don get treated with kid gloves.

Jimmy’s a good DB coach and at least had good results as a DC. He sucks as the head coach and things unraveled. He fucked himself over with his hires

It sucks and I wish he was capable of being the head coach and winning here, but he’s not.

I’ve seen a past coach at UW chuck players around. Good coaches get dirt dug up on them as well. Gruden good coach, Urban got exposed at OSU.

You make one slip up and all sorts of past shit can sprout up. As a coach mitigate your risk. Be a perfect human 24 hours a day.

Urban fucked up, but Zach Smith being Earl Bruce’s grandson played a huge part. I doubt Meyer would have done it for most of the other coaches.

Smith was basically family. Obviously beating women is wrong, but Urban knew the messy family situation, and Smith had only been away from Meyer like one or two years. Urban contradicting his wife’s statements on the matter were pretty shady.
