and don't read anything into "his first offer from USC" because with the new coaching staff coming in next year he'll likely be offered a second time.

If you are USC and you are offering a sophomore it’s a legit 5 star (which I’m sure someone like Reggie Bush would, but yes they are in full on desperation mode

Can you imagine Pete and co. showing up to an in-home with a fucking trophy, let alone the Heisman? These guys are such classless LA scum. No wonder why Johnny Patron thrives there. If a kid is swayed by a trophy, then so be it, unfortunately. I still badly want him and Wright, tho.

Wouldn't call it classless but its about as used car salesman of a pitch as you can get.
 
It would be one thing if this kid had a chance to win a Heisman, but pass rushers don't get that opportunity.

If that's what he wants, maybe he should go to the school that put a DT at #4 on the list. Pretty sure SC's never done that.
