We were in a good space in Ford's head after his visit and post pac12 championship... but I can't honestly say we "led" for him nor ngata for that matter.

Had we not stopped recruiting him over the summer we probably get him. He wasn't all USC until after the Opening finals when we started recruiting him again. But yeah I don't think we were ever 'leading' for him except maybe the week after his official.
