Asking him to depend on Aaron and Andre is setting him up to fail. Once Eason gets in there it will be the opposite where he is carrying guys like that instead of being a senior and having Joe Ngata and Kyle Ford when you play Alabama.

Did our receivers suck this year? Not really. But everything needs to be graded on a spectrum of “are they good enough to beat Bama?” Nothing else matters.

I am big fan of fuller, very happy that the kid put all that hard work and is making the most of it, but we all know he at best a good #2 option. To expect more from him is unfair

It's hard to really judge Lubick because so much of the WR issues also start with Browning's issues ... separating them is difficult at best

The WRs aren't perfect ... but in general the talent is coming in and there's reason to like the next few years

That being said, we also need to see how Lubick closes the class ... the Ngata miss (not that he went to Clemson but shut it down before the season and not taking an official to UW) is still a MASSIVE red flag.

Those were all fine gets for Lubick last year. But we are leveling up and the expectations were raised as you like to point out. Lubick could have landed Pittman and Delgado but he tried to level up with Ngata, Ford, and McCoy.

Think of recruiting or any similar forecasting of future results like gambling. There is a lot of luck and unknowns.

To use a poker analogy sometimes the three outer hits on the river that doesn't mean you were WRONG to put your money in with 93% equity.

Coaches are guilty until proven innocent. It has to be that way. If you are on THIS bored and don't get that, I don't know what to tell you.

That's a fine approach. But Troll is appealing to process > results, while defending a results related freakout.
