Wiltfong says he talked to three different sources following Ford’s visit this past weekend.
-One source said UW was in a great spot with Oregon remaining in contention as well as Colorado as a dark horse.
-Second source said that UW trailed but made up a lot of ground in the past few months and his visit has AT LEAST pulled them even at the top.
-Third source said that UW and Colorado were in the best position to land him
He also said nobody was counting out USC but based on the current pulse of his recruitment, Wiltfong has laid his balls on UW as the pick. He took his official to Colorado in June and still has three to use (if he wants). He finished by saying that Michigan and UCLA are other programs often mentioned here.

No one is Ngata. Ford is Spiker-level, which is awesome... but a tick below.
If you look at Ford's #s from the Opening, they are really similar to Spiker: 6-2, 208, 4.68.

I think Bru McCoy is just as good a receiver as Ngata and an even better BUCK, but I agree Ford is the next tier down. He's at the top of that next tier though.
