Those are traditional white names (like 100 years ago) which has been a trend with black names for the last 30 years. How many white guys in their 30s do you know named Earl, Richard, or Russell?

If their names were Jeff, Brad, and Scott, then, yes, they'd be white names
 
Just an observation. While sitting having a beer down at dockside yesterday I noticed Kyle Ford and his family arrive on the cruise boat from the Ballard locks. I discreetly watched for 10 minutes while the folks were waiting to get off the boat and was seriously disappointed that in that time he and his father were not approached by multiple well to do businessmen handing out their business cards. As he departed no Husky Honeys shepherding him up to the stadium. He looked very bored. I know. Not a cool story. Maybe coffee cups came out later but color me unimpressed with the effort.

Yeah good point. Instead of steering him towards Husky stadium to watch that abortion of a game I should have redirected him towards all the rich folks yachts 100 feet away. This is going to happen:

Ford will have a revelation, realizes he wants to get away from Cali and sees that Helton is going to be treading water for awhile (went with JT and thus has a get-out-jail-free pass when the year is disappointing) and UCLA sucks under that racist coach who hates black people (so he's half-offended).

Bru actually has liked us for awhile but needs a nudge to seriously consider UW and he chooses UW for the 4th or 5th official. He sees that Ford is having a great time, is also half-offended at Chip, he decides he likes purple and wants to stay West Coast for family and chance at a Natty so .....

Ika goes to the Poly Bowl, is surrounded by UW Polys with Kalepo the head back-scratcher. He talks to Danny Shelton and realizes this is fucking awesome. Gets a phone call from Vita Vea who has come back to action after that stupid "calf injury" and has been wreaking havoc for Miami ... he figures he can lead the Haka during pre-game and cement his legacy ... finally, he talks to Togiai privately and Tommy tells him it was the biggest mistake he ever made listening to Fat Gina Mariani. Ika goes purple.

Heimuli laughs his ass off at how Poly the team is now, commits and becomes the Poly Rueben Foster without the kid and bad tattoo.

Sounds far fetched? It's not.

Realdawg.com has spoken to several sources today (and throughout the weekend) who said that Ford felt the visit “exceeded expectations”.

His hosts were Austin Osborne and Marquis Spiker, according to our source, but he also spent a great deal of time with old friends Julius Irvin and Keith Taylor.

We hope to get more on this from Ford, himself, but he’s not a huge talker and so this might be as good as it gets for now. One thing we do know: the trip was a success.

The future landscape on the team looks real good to Ford right now (as a receiver) and so he has a lot to think about.

@StrongArmCobra , which of your takes am I supposed to believe here? I'm getting contradicting messages.

"the trip was a success" means what exactly - he didn't die? Jeez, this recruiting coverage by the "media" is hilarious.

kid was never coming here and will still never come here, but the trip was apparently a success.
