Helton and Kingsbury are known con-artists. Yeah sure the school that drops a quarter of their commits each year never llied to you.

At some point we need to hold the parents of these kids responsible for not recognizing con-artistry when it's starting them right in the face. This enamoration with USC is killing west coast football.

It's like if every kid in Florida was still flocking to Miami because they were good a decade ago.

Pete needs to hire a WR coach who's sole purpose is to get Ford to sign here. Similar to how Sark hired Tosh in order to land Shaq. Tee Martin, come on down!
 
If USC is committing Pete needs to go full Sark mode and set up a media room where he hangs a bunch of Ford jerseys of every color combo around the room with a powerpoint presentation in his Hawaiian shirt. I know he isn't big on sloppy seconds but time to get desperate.

Sure...teams would be dumb as hell not to make a run for him. But, making a run for Ford, and actually flipping Ford are two different things.
 
UDUB lost a kid to USC because of their slightly better degree and alumni network, but then also lost him again to Oregon who doesn’t even know what the words “alumni” and “networking” mean let alone have the words coincide with each other.
 
Remember that one time Washington offered a 5 star WR before Oregon did but then UDUB stopped talking to said WR for like 6 months while Oregon did not stop talking to him?

The funny thing about this is that Sark did that for Arik Armstead and it was the exact opposite of what he wanted. After committing to Oregon, Armstead said he trusted Kelly because instead of putting on a huge show, he just pointed out the recent success of the football team and spoke truthfully to him.
