In Ek's latest blog he said Mongo decommitted from Tennessee because it wasn't close to home. He also gave Mongo the official Eddie Vanderdoes "heavy UW lean" kiss of death

Kawasaki's defense looks like a blast to play in, he has them getting after it. Five out of five Kongboners if this rumor is true.
 
The way Pete sends guys to the league on defense, it's not much of a stretch to think 5 stars want to play here.

Still, I'm skeptical. He's local-ish. Is that local enough to fight off the SEC?
