Although I agree with you, I do find it funny that "Americans for Limited Government" are complaining about the US government cutting back it's involvement in Iraq. Kind of ironic, don't you think?
 
The fact is Iraq wanted us to stay and Obama could have extended the agreement for us to do so like he has done in Afghanistan

Maliki did not want to give US forces immunity from prosecution in Iraqi courts - Maliki also wanted us to get the fuck out so he could get busy murdering the fuck out of Sunnis and ex-Baathists. GWB should not have signed the SOFA after the election, he set Obama up for failure because we had to renegotiate rather than negotiate.

But yeah, a deal was probably attainable if there had been the political will on the US side. But there wasn't
 
I must have missed the "SOFA" that MacArthur signed with Japan. AzSuck had better tell the 3rd Marine Division to get the fuck off Okinawa.
