I agree with you on your Rush take, but I will love Tom Sawyer and the 2112 albumMy opinions:
Black Sabbath came back to life a bit after Dio joined and died after Mob Rules. They were a bloated mess before Dio joined. Touring with Van Halen did them in. Mob Rules and Neon Knights are some of my favorite songs by Sabbath. But I couldn't name one song of theirs after 1983.
AC/DC put out some slop after FTATR but had like one song on each of the next albums I kind of liked. Flick of the Switch is crap. Then came the run of albums with like one decent song. But for hardcore AC/DC fans the albums may have been listenable.
Rush is an acquired taste. Lost interest in Rush after Grace Under Pressure. Way too many keyboards for far too long. The next four albums had like the one song that was played on the radio. After 1991, Rush to me was done. I am sure there are the hardcore fans that air bass or air drum to Vapor Trails, just not me.
Which is why Rush has to go.
Both great albums. But things started to go haywire with Grace Under Pressure. Then the next three albums had like one good song. Plus, is there such a thing as a female Rush fan? Girls I knew preferred AC/DC.I agree with you on your Rush take, but I will love Tom Sawyer and the 2112 albumMy opinions:
