Kevin King what am I missing?

With Sidney Muthafuckin Jones' injury, King may go before him now after strong combine metrics.

I would not complain if the Seahawks got both King (2nd) and Jones (2nd or 3rd) after trading Richard Sherman.

They're not getting King in the second. First or not at all.
 
That could be true. Todd McShay has King going to the Raiders at 24 and an NFL.com guy has King going to the Seahawks at #26.

The signing of Luke Joeckel (can compete for a starting job at multiple positions) may give JS / PC flexibility in not having to draft an OL in the first few rounds. I really like Bolles and Lamp though.

Yeah I've seen a few places mock King to Oakland at 24, Sid's injury may really help King out. At this point I'm just hoping Seattle can get him in the first.

The question is, if Kevin King is available at 26, do the Seahawks draft him? A quality LT could slip to them (I'm not sold on Cam Robinson improving his pass-blocking and he's not really a fit for a heavy zone-blocking scheme like Seattle's) or they could trade down to the early / mid 2nd round and draft a CB then (perhaps Sidney Jones).

Something may happen with Sherman in the meantime.

I think so, but it obviously depends on how other things shake out. If they're there, I could see them taking Bolles, Lamp, or maybe Melifonwu over him (though I doubt it on the last one). I think King is the most likely choice if available but it's far from a lock.
 
I've seen King mocked as high as #11 to the Saints and #13 to the Cardinals. I doubt he goes that high but it seems he's a first rounder for damn sure.
