Kessler

Awards rolled in, and so did scholarship offers. Like many touted prospects, Kessler grew disenchanted with the recruiting process, stressed by endless calls and people asking if he had made a decision. He grew especially close with Steve Sarkisian, then the Washington head coach, a former USC assistant with a reputation for developing quarterbacks. (everybody says so) But the day Kessler called to commit to the Huskies, USC intervened.

Still, Kessler thinks he has plenty to work on. USC finished 9-4 last season, an average record by program standards, with puzzling losses to Boston College and Utah. Outsiders might give USC a pass because of the lingering effects of crippling sanctions (everybody take a drink)that depleted depth, but Kessler says he and his teammates aren’t using that as an excuse—have you seen the talent on this roster?

Don't forget...they have had a lot of kids leave early. If they were still in school it would be a totally different SC team.

I noticed he says "teammates" and not "teammates and coaches".

Guess we know what Sark's ammo will be after 7-6 this season.

We don't deal with hyptotheticals around here

Keith Price..... Set every passing efficiency record at UW. Check.

Cody Kessler had the best statistical Season since Matt Leinart. Probably better.

But I do see how Sark sucks at coaching QB's.

Soogs gotta Soog I 'spose.

You play the game to win. If we gave a shit about meaningless stats we'd be coog fans

Hope this helps

I'm going to call all you jobless fags out when USC comes out and absolutely rips it this year.

So what you are saying is that you trust that Seven (and his dude brah coaching fraternity) will pay enough attention for 3+ months to have the focus and discipline necessary to grind week in and week out to put his team/players in the best possible position to win game after game AND NOT rest on his laurels at some point, celebrate success by an evening or two out chasing tail (allegedly), bringing tail with him on the road (allegedly), and reward his players for their good play by creating a country club atmosphere for practices with In and Out Burger trucks as their reward afterwards?

What I don't think you get is that nobody is really questioning the talent at USC. What everybody is questioning is whether or not Seven will ever get them to reach their maximum ceiling as a coach.

Their glass ceiling is higher than 98% of ceilings. I think if they don't rip it, Sark and Haden will be DAO.

The first part of the bolded line is common knowledge at this point but please share about the second part.
