Kent Griswold - Jake Heaps' dad?

Fecal_Matter

New Fish
Kent trying to say that Heaps wasn't overrated.

He then tells everyone who disagrees with him that they need to dig deeper - they are just looking at surface level stuff.

On the surface his stats suck and he's transferred twice leading people to conclude that he's a pussy that's been told he's great his whole life by QB guru's like Ektard and Sark only to find out that he can't cut it in division 1.

I thought Kent was steadfast in his assertion that Sark wanted Montana, and therefore was not responsible for losing Heaps, a lesser talent.

On a related note, if you ever want a perfect example of why you should not base players college performance on scout rankings go back and look at that group that Heaps and Montana and Scroggins belonged to. Holy shit.

Worst. Quarterback Class. Ever.

#FuckingDreckfest is an understatement.

I think i actually have Cal above them.

I love Kim's essentialy put-on-a-headset style comeback.

"Overrated? Who would you have ranked #1 then? Huh?" The guy had a nice reply. "I don't get paid to do this (stock teen boys) for a living"

Kent also said digging deeper takes some work. Then poasters rattle of several names of guys who were better. Now there is silence from Kent, although I'm sure he'll come back with some lame ass retort.

Kent also says he's not here to defend Heaps, but he is doing just that.

Kent is either too busy hanging out with his buddies at Vino at the Landing drinking cabs that drink like merlots and offering up bananas at the Dub Pub ... way too busy to be bothered answering questions from the patrons at night ... that's Butler Cabin's job.

Also gotta love Griswold in the same thread lecturing how he expects more from people in the "higher discussion board", they need to understand football like he does in order to offer something of "value" to the board. Kent is just trying to educate people who are too dense to look beyond the surface. It doesn't matter that Heaps looks like a total stiff when he plays. That's just surface stuff. You don't know what really goes on behind the scenes. But Kent does, and he's not sharing.

But again, he's not defending Heaps. Just like he loves the Peetamus hire.

Next.

Kim really expects more from people who pay him to post on his board. Maybe one day they'll know half as much about football as Kim and make that 10.95 count.

Delusions of grandeur, Napolean complex, a hanger-on and faux celebrity-chaser - all with the charm of a used car salesman. What's not to like?

Plagiarism, for one.
