To be fair I hated Helfrich the second he spoke on the mic in his first presser.

It was fine to finish the Chip era with him and they moved on the second it was fully Helfrich’s ship.
William was a massive bullet dodged.
Herbert saved the Mario hire. But agree good not great. I remember driving around town while MC was there and some national radio guy saying Oregon was holding Cristobal back. Nearly drove off the road.
I love the doogs here trying to wish Lanning away somewhere else. Funny shit.

If Lanning leaves where would he go? I don't see him leaving anytime soon. Young family, building a monster, other than leaving for the NFL, what school would he leave for? Money isn't an issue, you know Phil has already taken care of that issue.
 
He doesn't strike me as an NFL guy at least for several years. Although Campbell at Detroit is a college coach type and it seems to be working

I don't see the work load decreasing if he goes to the NFL, having a young family and a 15 minute commute to work, and all the money you could possibly want isn't nothing. The only reason to leave would be if he hates recruiting but that's obviously not an issue with him.
 
Oregon now being in the B1G eliminates some of the draw to a blue blood. Not all of it but certainly a lot of it.
A lot of these guys would love to live down south though. Warmer, more recruits in back yard etc.

It might, but if he has another Oklahoma performance this year, he might be working it out somewhere else.
 
DeBoer is more proven than his son Danny for what it's worth. He'll do fine. And he's always welcome here.
Dan loses the next two games and the coaching search is on
Not saying he will. Oregon is the clear favorite

Like Oregon fans weren’t wishing 3-0 in two seasons went away. He’s obviously a good coach, better than most of us expected. Oregon is a well oiled machine and it doesn’t hurt they have daddy war bucks funding EVERYTHING and their upper campus values what their football program brings to the university.

It’s funny kegboy and fats are used to describe Lanning & DeBoer
