2. Over 60% of the NFL are players from a county where the poverty line is underneath the national average with 68% percent of the league being African American, football scholarships provide an opportunity most who participate would not have.

Point: NCAA D1 football is almost literally running an after school program for at-risk youth

Coming from poverty does not make you an "at-risk" youth you idiot. Bad or non-existent parenting does. I'm talking about fucking teenagers that get kicked out of their school for disciplinary problems, commit crimes, and/or join gangs. The vast majority of black players at any level do not have that kind of troubled background. If you think they do you're the real racist here. Many may come from the hood but do not allow any negativity around them to shape who they are as people. We want OKGs. Doesn't matter where their from or what race they are. Who the fuck do you think Chris Petersen is? Jesus? Some kids are just bad kids. Some weren't raised right. Chris Petersen cannot magically make them good people. He's not some white savior who can save the talented but bad black kids from the hood. This isn't a fucking inspirational movie you idiot. This is the fucking real world.
