FWIW, Daniels did split out a few times during the Cactus Bowl.
He does play "WR" on quite a few downs, but the staff likes to have him play H-back and shift him in motion, trying to find a good one-on-one match up against a nickel or OLB.
That being said, they really need to get the ball to him more often (and get a QB who can throw to him, too).

If Daniels doesn't have 30 catches this year Smith needs to be fired.
If I remember correctly, Daniels has all the tools to be an elite WR or TE, its just that his hands were the biggest culprit.
CP & Smith first have to find a QB who can throw Daniels' way.
