Florida fans correctly rioting after hiring Fisch is gonna be hilarious.
 
One of the "insiders" ("just got done talking to my contacts inside the program") on dawgman is claiming he has it on good authority that Fisch is not a cabdidate for the Florida job.

This guy (not acropolis) posts something like this any time there is potentially "big news" regarding UW football and recruiting. Without exception, he ends up being DEAD WRONG every time he posts

Clearly, whoever the fuck DaveMasonBOL is doesn't live in a data-informed world.
 
Fisch just seems like such a terrible humbling hire by Florida. I can't imagine selling a fanbase that won two national titles less than 20 years ago in a conference that thinks it's god's gift to football that we're hiring a dorky Pac-12 guy with a losing coaching record who has been mediocre at Washington. I'd just hire the next in line SEC coordinator type over that or fight for Chesney or Sumrall.

My Alabama guy says the Florida AD has been telling boosters that Kiffin is in the bag. If so, and it doesn’t pan out, how do you pivot to Judd? Tough sell.
 
Florida can only sell a Fisch hire if he beats Oregon. And that’s a stretch.
If UW loses, there is no way to sugarcoat a shit hire.

Was gonna say, if it's coming from dawgman just do George Costanza with the information and assume the opposite and you'll bat 1,000.
 
Florida is still too close to winning some natties and still have the taste of "just get the right fucking guy in here and let's go!" to hire a guy like Jedd.
As a person who would like to see Florida keep sleeping, I hope they make that move. Jedd won't win big down there. Cook it.

I was listening to a podcast and this former coach said Steve Spurier has recommended the Missouri HC if Kiffin goes to LSU with Fisch being the third option. Should get interesting if Jed gets a W Saturday.
 
Judds odds went from 50% and the clear cut top choice mid day yesterday down to 31% and again running just second to Kiffin.
