Kasen Williams update

New Fish
The Hooks signed two players from the rookie camp to the 90 man roster today.

Sadly, Kasen was not one of them.

That blows.

Agreed. It would have been great to see a local kid with enough talent to make the Hawk 90 man roster.
not local enough?

Cue the dawgman posts suggesting that Kasen be hired as a receiver coach. It would be great to see him roaming the sidelines.

That will really lock in the vaunted Skyline recruiting pipeline which as produced such talent as.....

Hopefully he doesn't break a leg in his coaching debut

Carroll said they wanted to sign him. LIPO. Maybe he's trying to find a team he has a better chance of making it with.

"we wanted to sign him, but, there are only a limited number of slots available, we'll see what happens"

Danny Kelly at FieldGulls writes the door may not be closed:

The Seahawks roster now stands at 90. I'd not be surprised if Seattle brings in more of these tryout players -- including Kasen Williams -- as the offseason goes on. The team tends to rotate players in and out at the back of their roster.

Yes, FieldGulls is my source.

Kelly's usually pretty good.

Mediocre... an appetizer... I keed, I keed. Kearse is "aight". He could have done a better job of pushing Revis farther into the end zone, but I digress.

Kearse is ok in a rushing offense but in a passing offense, really no better than a 3rd or 4th WR
