Being a piece of shit doesn't pay off in the long run.

Not really sure what more Petersen could have done in this situation except pay Kaho's shitty dad. He did the right thing to just let him go. This is going to make Kaho and family look bad in the long run. They have 0 explanation at the lies the spewed and the logic of going to Bama. Although nothing is going to happen to Bama, this sure as fuck causes a lot of smoke especially with coffee cup Tosh being the primary recruiter.

I hope the Bama scout team OL amputates both his arms and legs. He already has CTE (considering how spineless that fucker is) so I can’t really call for it.

Here is the scoop....

We can report that the story about Kaho having lost “20 pounds” is not true. He weighed 215 when he left for Reno. So, at the most, it was a three-pound loss (and it’s normal considering the stress he’s been through).

The info about him “not eating” is not true either — it’s more about not being able to work out. There’s no question that the kid is stressed out; two family members suddenly passing away is tough on any teenager.

His parents have been going through a divorce since last spring — but here’s what’s disturbing about this: His father, Hopate, had been calling up other player’s parents asking to borrow large sums of money due to his situation with the divorce.

Thankfully, the parents who were approached turned him down and wanted nothing to do with it. One parent we know of went to UW and told them this had transpired so it might be reported to compliance.

While that, in itself, is not “illegal” — but it suggests a financial burden that the father of Kaho is experiencing and from what we’ve gathered this evening.[/b]

Remember when he signed, his mother went on Twitter and asked other schools to leave her son alone? There’s always been something rather unsettling about this.

At this point, it’s unknown if Kaho will return to Washington or not. We know, for a fact, that Ale — himself — did everything he needed to do to get into Washington and become a Husky. This was his dream. But it was true that, all through the process, Kaho’s parents were not completely sold because they wanted him to go to Brigham Young and receive an LDS-centered education.

Is that what will happen now? We don’t know. We do know that he’s home and that he, himself, was looking forward to beginning his career at Washington.

No, 20 pages about a recruit who signed a letter of intent with Washington who lied to media and possibly the NCAA in order to get out his obligation most likely under pressure from his father who is suffering financially, with the strong possibility that the father is receiving financial compensation.
 
Ektard claims he had an insider tell him three concrete things that he knows to be true:

1) Alefasio told Coach Pete he loves UW and truly wanted to be here, and still wishes he could stay.

2) Neither his mom nor dad wanted him at UW from the start (which makes sense from their tweets at the time). Mom has wanted him at USC, Dad has wanted him at Bama.

3) This source knows both USC and Bama have continued to recruit the parents, and cannot outright say that there are improprieties, but why else would the kid de-commit unless the parents have been promised things and are forcing his hand.

I truly feel shitty for this kid, as he seems to love UW and the coaches and the kids he was recruited with. When he committed, he talked about how it felt like a family away from home. His home life has been rough, and he felt protected at UW.

I hope nothing bad happens to this kid further.... However, his parents (especially his dad) are fucking this kid over. Fuck both of them.

I stand corrected. Sure, I knew he’d go to another school at the wishes of his parents, but I didn’t imagine he’d do it the next fucking day. Fuck me for feeling sorry for the kid.

Angulo should have gone with the solid 100% because it was clearly a done deal a month ago. I’m glad you had to waste your summer in school kid.

Frankly, knowing him personally from a while back, I don't think he has the mindset/desire to do anything more than he's doing now which is a shame because this is an opportunity for him to expand his presence and value before the next round of job cuts at The Seattle Times.

Yeah I gave Adam Jude a lot of leeway early on - had to be difficult replacing Condotta who is one of the best, if not the best beat writer in the country. But Jude has done simply ZERO to endear me and honestly comes off as someone who doesn't really like what he does.
