GFTM Affiliate Reporter Flair Blangulo has posted a an update on the Hopate coffee cup situation late last night.
"I'm told by a reliable source that there is "a 90 percent chance" that Alabama is the next destination for former five-star Brandon "Ale" Kaho, the nation's top-rated inside linebacker in the 2018 class per the 247Sports rankings (A GaryFromTeenMom corporation).
Things are moving fast after Kaho was given his full release by Washington on Monday. The thought is that Kaho intends to finalize his decision in the next 24-48 hours, move on to what's next and get back into school/football rhythm.
BYU, UNR, Oregon and USC are also in the mix but right now the Crimson Tide appear to be in great shape to land a player they had high on their board in the previous cycle."
A little tidbit not reported on the 247 board that I can share here....it is true that Tosh Lupoi has promised Hopate an underground light rail speed system that will transport Hopate and his family (lol j/k, he doesn't have one anymore) from his home in Reno to Bryant Denny Stadium in just 42 minutes. Tosh has told Hopate this is scheduled to be ready in time for the 2018 season. Hopate simply won't fly. He just won't do it so this is what they had to get done for them to be happy with Bama being the next destination for their cash cow.
