K9 Walker to sign with Kansas City Chiefs

I think the hawks will regret this as they struggle to balance their offense / they had a chance to repeat (and that is super rare) and I think this one move sinks that opportunity

Simply put, they had the guy they needed for next year, and they let him go. Just my opinion of course
 
As someone pointed out Walker was a part time back until Charbonnet got hurt late in the season. No doubt Seattle was better relying 100% on Walker and he came through big but they didn't think he could nor do they think he can going forward

Probably a good bet
 
RBs don't matter Fudgie has told us so countless times.

Seriously though that was not well spent money by KC. Walker isn't $10+ million per year better than some washed up 28 year old who can only handle 10-15 carries or some 5th round pick with speed and power.
 
I would have re-signed Walker over Shaheed. Shaheed is good and will be better next year with a full offseason, but Walker is a legitimate starting RB and Charbonett is coming off an injury.

I do agree with Chuck that there will be cheap options to find a guy that can run it 10-15 times when needed and have success. There are a lot of good RB’s.
 
It could be argued that Charbonnet getting hurt was largely responsible for K9 getting $5 million more a year. He had to produce of course, but the point still stands
