True story one of my elementary substitute teachers was Chris Izbicki's mom. She thought TY was a POS justfibly and regretted letting him commit to the UW becuz he wasn't being developed. But 9 year old me had the awareness to know her was a fucktard and a shitty football player. I told her "your son sucks and it wouldn't matter if he played for Pete Carroll he sucks". Needless to say i got sent to the office becuz the truth hurts.

John Fiala was the coach for Redmond 3rd/4th grade Boy's lacrosse team a couple seasons ago, despite never having played and knowing very little about the game.

25 years later and he is still a walk-on.

I trust Kwiatkowski's recruiting prowess will get us far in Texas and Kansas.
 
I'm hoping that they will withhold all 2019 in state offers until Junior Day. It is all a master plan. Imagine being a local kid and being invited into Pete's office after tearing shit up at your workout. You sit down, he shakes your hand and says "I didn't want to offer you over the phone or social media. I wanted to let you know in person that you are our kinda guy. We want you to stay home and be a Dwag." That would be a good way to know that you don't run second fiddle to any out of state kids and that you weren't being slow played, you were being honored. You then ask "What about Kalepo?" and Pete answers "What do you mean? That kid FUCKS!" You nod and accept your offer.
