aTm has won 10 games in a season like twice since 1995 or something ridiculous.

I get what you’re saying, vis a vis recruiting, but the results don’t really match up.

Oregon, by and large, has played above its recruiting over the past 20 years. USC, aTm, Texas, and FSU….not so much.

Really it’s all about hitting at the QB spot, where Oregon had a ton of success(Harrington, Clemens, Thomas, Mariota, Herbert) as well as hitting on transfers like Akili, Masoli, Adams, and Nix. Some obvious misses in there as well, but by and large that position as been pretty good, overall.
