Just saw the Eagles at the Sphere in planet Vegai

Wow. Just wow, what a venue. 2.3 billion to build [more that some countries GDP]. Great show, I was excited to see Joe Walsh [great power guitar], elegant and sophisticated performances by Vince Gill and of course the always solid Timothy Schmidt. But really the reason I went was to experience Sphere.
Will definitely go back, the venue is the best in the world [nothing is remotely comparable], i would only go to see a killer band because its pricey [expensive tickets] including airfare + hotel [vegas is expensive now and gawd has it grown], but will keep my eye out for something worthy.

There's no parking in Vegas anymore. There are only 2500 parking spaces for Allegiant Stadium. The A's plan to build only 2500 parking spaces for their planned stadium. Everyone has to park at the casinos now. Casinos are charging $25 for parking if you stay longer than 2-3 hours.

Bring a kick scooter or one that has a small lithium battery (so you can bring it on a plane) when you go to Vegas, to save on transportation costs. It's $20-30 just to Uber a few miles on the Strip.

$2.3 billion in debt for the Sphere. I wonder if they can ever pay that off. The Sphere has 300 parking spots.

Parking is becoming a disaster in Vegas.

all my Dead Head buds are trying to get me go so Bob Weir and John Mayer, but it just doesn’t sound right to my ear.
 
Glenn Frye is alive and well in the sense that his son is in the band and is performing some of his role [kid is a prodigy in progress] and they also have the brilliance of Joe Walsh, Vince Gill and a studio musician guitarist standing in to creat the impact of the sound ~ truthfully, this lineup is better quality overall than their historical lineup.
Long time associated band members Vince Gill and Joe Walsh killed it, Timothy Schmidt and Don Henley are still bringing it, and it was better than studio quality sound ~ performed live.

Don Felder is going to be at the CDA Casino this spring. Probably just as good as the Eagles in the Sphere.

Plenty of parking.
