My freshman football coach. Could do more one arm push-ups at age 70+ than any of the players could two arm ones. We really don’t know for sure though. If we players lost the challenge, we would have to do wind sprints until we puked.

Swarthout was John Elway’s godfather. That’s how he ended up in the WLAF as Jack Elway was Frankfurt’s head coach.

I once flew to Missoula and was wearing a Husky Jacket. A man asked me if I happened to be Joe’s son. I said no and was wondering who the fuck Joe was. When I got off the plane and was waiting for the bag outside, I noticed Joe Montana and his wife coming down the steps. It all clicked. Joe Montana had a son that was a back up QB at Montana. The man thought I was Joe Montana’s son. Nick played for UW at the time. CSB
