Just received a warning email from Vanilla

offer-of-nothing-gif.64012

I just sent this gif as a response to Vanilla accounts receivable. I also CC'd the manager who abandoned our project without saying a word to me in September, as well as the high up manager who told me that I was only paying $2,583 per year as a legacy site when the service level I was receiving I should have been paying $25,000 a year.... and she implied that maybe if I was paying $25,000 then maybe she would actually give a shit. (100% true story)
You were right to tell them to fuck right off.

If this is true about the figures they floated, and you were indeed that small of a revenue account for them, they are pathetic for even wasting the time to message you at all about anything.

Hilarious.

It's like the offshore dev team bullshit. "Wait you didn't like that the shitty devs we gave you actually didn't do quality work and took forever not doing it? You need to "rev down" these shitheads before we stop charging you.

I love financial disputes. Basically, fuck half of the creditors.

Once, I had a doctor that would not schedule a procedure because I (supposedly) owed $20 for an invoice that I had never received. He owned the entire facility. Stood to make $1,000 or more if he did the procedure.

Are you sure you want to deny me?

Absolutely.

Listen, it is such a small amount, you will get your money. I won't even ask for an invoice.

Nope.

No tickey, no procedure.

Fine.

So, I immediately set up 80 weekly bill pays for $.25 (when a standard stamp was more than $.50).

I made sure that I had a replacement physician/facility scheduled b4 I pulled the trigger but every week for the next year and a half some poor motherfucker in that office had to open the mail, log a $.25 check and apply it against a balance of $20.

This was back when payments to some smaller businesses had to be physical checks and not electronic. And when there was no $1 floor for remittance.

I still chuckle to this day about that poor fucking receptionist that wouldn't schedule the procedure and had to see (or hear) my name for the next year and a half,

I have an uncommon last name, and my wife still goes to him. Nicest women in the world. Surely they don't think we are married?
