Just read the Seattle Times "Commemorative Section."

Jerry Brewer makes a lame attempt to "be tough" on Sark, crafting a headline that says: "Pressure is on Sarkisian."

But then he spews the usual crap about him inheriting an 0-12 team, but no mention that HE DID NOT INHERIT 0-12 TALENT. There was no mention that Sark's OL recruiting has been a disaster, or that Sark has recruited one decent interior DL in 5 years while we've become "Wide Receiver U." Also no ink on the fact that we've hung onto an OL coach that few top recruits want to play for. Do sports writers do research anymore?

Way to get tough, Jerry. If you ever decide to do a real bare-knuckle piece, visit this website. We've got plenty of material.

I about lost my breakfast when I read this part...

"Unless a disaster occurs, he’s not coaching for his job. Let’s not be silly. But he is coaching to make the statement that mediocrity will not be a signature of his program."

So much that is wrong with this, where to start...

Yes, I agree. The disgusting part is that mediocrity is the accepted norm, so that doesn't warrant a change. I don't care if we didn't have history on our side, what successful organization in the world just accepts mediocrity?

I need to stop even reading the Seattle Times after reading a few comments from the article as well. The only comment that is spot on "no wonder Seattle is the worst sports city in America for winners" gets 4 thumbs down comments.

He's right...Sark isn't coaching for his job. It will take a full blown disaster for him to get fired.

So if we have another ho-hum season, I guess Jerry will just shrug his shoulders and write about how Sark will be using the 2014 season to show mediocrity will not be the signature of his program.

At least we know now that Brewer didn't defend Ty because he was black. Instead Brewer defended Ty because he is a fucking moron.

I have yet to read nor will I read this article but I've heard enough just from this thread alone.
