Seriously, what goes on in your head?As a REAL F150 owner (XLT-Eco Boost-11.5 Big Display-Heated Seats-Sport Appearance Package) I can see the benefit of the full electric. Unfortunately the HOA here on Mercer Island won't let me do a full hookup so had to go with gas model. I am just glad that we both agree to buy american instead of @EverettChris and his support of communist china with his Hyundai Santa Fe Purchase!
Can you manage to calculate the average? It's hard.Hey Doog Bot, guess he wasn’t part of the 11% real unemployed was he? Heheh
Slack jawed faggot thinks children mining the lithium in open pits by hand is great for the environment and the world. Put a wind turbine on top of that POS truck and it'll have limitless range. I have one for sale only $250,000.00 send the check to PO Box 129056, Udumbfuck, Moronistan zip 000000. I'll get one shipped out right away. If you really want to save the world you'll mail that check out today.Look at dumb Everett Chris’s logic! No one said EVs were completely green, but neither are the production of ICE’s. Over the life of the vehicle, it’s no contest, EV’s are better for the environment. But im not here to fight that argument.
Arent you guys tired of OPEC holding the US economy hostage when they want? The US is already the largest producer of oil this world has ever seen and yet OPEC can still throw a tantrum and hold us hostage. Why wouldn’t we want as many competitors to that as possible?
Finally, EVs are better drives….period. Go drive em, you’ll never want to switch back except for the special cases I mentioned like wanting to tow stuff around.
The Lightning does literally nothing better than the ICE version other than maybe 0-60. It's not a truck if it can't tow. I know most people buy trucks as "lifestyle vehicles" these days, but you would've been better off getting a Rivian as it's massively better than the Ford.Good post Bend. I appreciate the objective opinion. F150’s are cool in any case. I previously owned a RAM, but I’m pleased with the F150 upgrade. If you drive the EV, it takes it up an notch. Again, the US is already the top producer of gas and we still get held hostage. How much more gas do you want to drill, we already drill plenty?I own a Tesla and love it. I bought it for reasons other than the environment as the environment argument makes no sense. I own a F-150 truck and will always have a gas vehicle. I looked at the F-150 EV but the price at the time was ridiculous and there was a waiting list. Plus, it was an unknown vehicle so being the guinea pig made zero sense to me. I have ridden in one and loved it though.
As for OPEC, we should be an independent provider, drilling our own oil enough so that we don't have to purchase from others. Something the left does not support. They would rather shut down our production, force people into EV's that have nowhere near enough infrastructure to support it and make everyone ride bikes to work. The pollution required to ship oil around the planet is ridiculous and much more harmful to the planet that producing enough here in our own country but why waste time discussing that with liberals who can't think straight.
Dude lives at his mom’s in Fife. What kind of shitty development does Buck's fake alt live in on Mercer Island to have to deal with an HOA? Are there townhouses there now?
This is spot on, not sure where Buck lives but if you have to traverse the Cascades or any pass for that matter and tow, well welcome to a much longer travel time and that’s if you can find a charge station. Which are sparse, to say the least. I just bought a 2025 Chev Silverado Trail Boss w/ a 5 liter V8 and it goes like a mad man. Zero concerns pulling any of my toys. Plus I can get gas in Oregon and circumvent Comrade Inslee and the Olympia Politburo’s agenda to save the world now shit. It’s a $1.10 a gallon difference, that offset is well worth the gas mileage drop. The Lightning does literally nothing better than the ICE version other than maybe 0-60. Also, nobody buys the Lightning because they cost massively more money for less capability. And, like all EV's, they depreciate by 50% in less than 2 years. Buck financial prowess strikes again.
What are you babbling about Buck…I mean Swatthemoon? This is how you know @Fire_Marshall_Bill really actually doesn't have property in the seattle area. He thinks the only way you can get an HOA is if its a new building or townhouse. Split lots, duplexes, and other housing scenarios with a lot that has been split where property taxes and/or insurance need to be split all reasons where an HOA is established. HOA's can be established in pre existing neighborhood communities without the necessities of a new build.
For example: I am not allowed to have it installed because it can be seen in my street IN A NEWLY formed HOA neighborhood which i also think is insanely stupid!!!
