LOL. I mean, if you're winning and have a high arrest rate, then so be it. But Jiminy Christmas, what the fuck are Kansas, Oregon State and, for Pete's sake WSU brining home the title, doing on this list? Colorado in the middle of the pack?

The message from each AD to the HC of each such program is clear: arrests are perfectly ok, but you gotta win dipshit.

Shocked SC didn't make the list and Michigan did. I suppose the general view of the world would have that reversed.

And where da fuck are my Canes? Florida and Florida State on the list, and my fucking faggot choir boys in Coral Gables are graduating and staying out of trouble. Great. Just fucking great.

Well that went off the rails quickly.

Yeah, the small town thing plays a part. Then again, I don't think Gainsville, Tally, Boulder, Columbus and several other places pass the "podunk town with nothing else to do" test. It's convenient, and explains some, but not all of it. Eugene is in that category and they were last on the list. There was a time when Washington would have cracked the top 5, and in 2000, might have won it outright.

When Meyer had things going at Florida, they were as bad as any I'd seen since the mid 90s Huskers and the mid 80s Sooners, the latter of which I still think are the gold standard for programs that should scare you away from letter your daughter attend.

The small town indicator only works for shitty programs. I would expect Oregon's crime rate to rise if the team reverts to 7-5. Colorado may rise on the list over the next half decade.
