Julius Irvin, 4* 2018 DB, Anaheim (Servite), CA (COMMITTED)

Wanted to jump back on & congratulate you on the Irvin pickup. Been out with a newborn so haven’t been in the mix for a few weeks.
I know UW fans will enjoy the following tidbit I got from a few people. The USC recruiting situation is not what it seems. They boast a top 5 class but it is definitely not. They have 18 signed. Six of the 18 are LB’s, with a 7th who probably will be in college. They are already talking about moving guys to safety or DE who aren’t near as good at those positions. So one third of their top 5 class play the same position. That’s like signing three 5 Star QBs, it’s pointless. They didn’t fill needs & missed on guys they really needed in other positions. Out of the 18 signed, 5 will transfer or never play. It is an extremely overrated class.

I will try.
I’m just now getting updated on ‘19 recruiting. I know ND & UW are going after about 5 of the same kids, & USC & UW are going after about two dozen, so I will get updates as I get them, but it’s very, very early in the process. ND has a Junior day tomorrow so I will get a lot of info then. I will hop in the threads about kids already started like Jude, & put out what I have heard.
 
His best time last year was 11.15, that's crazy improvement. The speed itself is awesome, but also shows that he has the work ethic to be great. #OKG
 
Getting a guy who is 6-1, going to play at 200 lbs and can run 10.6... I'm literally going to cry.

Julius is all I've ever wanted in a recruit. Even has a good name.

Lake should recruit our entire classes.
