Julius Buelow, 2019 4* OL, Kapolei (Kapolei), HI (COMMITTED)

Please god... and we have Gaard already for next year and we better land Hatchett too... sweet mercy.

Pretty crazy we have a middling at worst chance to have an OL class with Gaard, Hatchett, and Murao in 2020. 3 of our top 4 targets.

I think Buelow is coming here. I think we have a good chance with Vimahi, too.

So is Vimahi a mission kid for sure? I remember someone saying he might be planning on enrolling for a year and then taking his mission. I think his brother signed with Utah and is on a mission currently.

Who knows? Tayler Katoa claimed to be a mission kid, then went to USC. Even if he is, we did take a mission kid in Lolohea, and taking one might be a good thing this year since we're running out of OL spots in this class.

Yeah I certainly wouldn't mind. Higher rated recruits tend to postpone it more than most though. If he doesn't take one, it'd essentially be whoever takes the spot first between him and fautanu.

He should have taken his mission...would have saved his knee from Ivan.

Told Roof:

- Wanted to commit to UW on his visit but his family asked him to slow down
- Family wants to set up Official in August so they could help make a decision
- Stays in touch with Huff on a daily basis
- Knows there is only one spot left and doesn't want to miss out
- Same kid who acknowledged UW'slack of depth earlier this spring
- “I’d play left tackle and Nate only plays right tackle”

He's ours? for sure.

I will send you and the sprinthorse to the fucking glue factory, if he don’t commit

And on the other note, fuck Pete for taking only 3 OL per class. We are fucked if we have to start 2019 OL class as freshman

Say what? Does he mean 1 tackle spot? I can't imagine them only taking 2 linemen not including Luchy. Unless Pa'ama is going to end up on Oline as well.

God damn it, I want Vimahi, Fautanu, Buelow, and Kalepo with Pa'ama staying on D...that is unless Malloe is fucking hard right now and landing bigger DT fish.

But really with our Oline depth issues there's no way there's only 1 spot left unless someone else is a silent.

Wtf am I going to do there? Huff Spirithorse?

Fuck that shit and fuck you, that horse is a saint! He doesn't give two shits about you or your desires!

Yeah I think (hope) one more OL spot means we feel good enough about our 4 DT targets that we're almost definitely moving Paama to OL

The thing about mormon kids and missions is that they are 100% committed when they are still at home with their family and their church and it seems like an awesome opportunity to travel blaah blah blah.

Once they end up out of that bubble with other "normal" kids, they are in the program with their team mates, and they are thinking about winning championships and getting drafted, it doesn't seem quite so important to take that mission right in the middle of all that and fuck it all up.

You'll have plenty of time to proselytize and start a ward when you are in your late 30's and have millions from playing in the NFL.

Unless a kid is taking his mission before[/b] he enrolls in college I wouldn't worry much about it. He's probably more likely to have an injury derail his career than dip out for his mission. That is, unless your team or the player sucks and then it doesn't matter anyways.
